Steps to Remove shortcut virus:

• First of all Click on start.
• Go to Run and type cmd press OK.

• Let me suppose your Pen Drive letter as g. 
• Enter this command.
• attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:*.*
• You can copy the above command.
•  Right click on the Command Prompt and 
• Paste it. 
• Note: Don't stop thinking about replacing the letter g with your pen drive letter. 
• Now press Enter 

That's all

Now you can check for your files and folder in Pen Drive.

How to Remove Shortcut virus using a batch file

Bat file is create in notepad and directly executed by double-clicking on it. To apply this method using .bat file. This method takes a lot of time so the solution of this problem I am writing the new method to remove shortcut virus.

• Open notepad file Copy
• And paste the below code into a notepad file

@echo off
attrib -h -s -r -a /s /d G:\*.*
attrib -h -s -r -a /s /d G:\*.*
attrib -h -s -r -a /s /d G:\*.*
@echo complete.

• Simply replace the G with your damage drive name, if you have more than 3 drives, then simply copy and paste the command.
• Now save the file name with removevirus.bat
• Simply close the file and run it.
• After doing that all of Shortcut virus files and folder are in normal form, now go and remove the shortcut files and folders.
